Proof of purchase is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Effective date:<\/strong> This policy applies to all purchases made on or after <strong>April 24, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refunds and exchanges are subject to verification. If return activity appears excessive or fraudulent, Sephora may refuse returns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Holiday returns<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In-store and online purchases made between Oct. 31, 2025 and Dec. 30, 2025 can be returned or exchanged through Jan. 30, 2026. The purchases qualify for in-store exchanges or store credit. Gift card purchases are refunded as store credit or gift card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recent changes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sephora ended its previous policy allowing returns or exchanges (or store credit) for 31 to 60 days after purchase. The standard policy is now a strict 30-day window for full refunds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The older tiered-credit system (where refunds after 30 days were issued as store credit) is no longer part of the standard policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Non-returnable items<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Products marked <strong>Final Sale<\/strong> cannot be returned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gift cards are non-refundable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Items must be new or gently used; heavily used or damaged items may be rejected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sephora reserves the right to refuse any return, especially when fraud or policy abuse is suspected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Does Sephora have a good return policy?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thebudgetfashionista.com\/tags\/tag\/do-it-yourself\/\" title=\"Do It Yourself\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"4403\">The Budget Fashionista<\/a> rates the Sephora return policy as good, with a score of 4.1 points out of 5. Each category is rated on a 1 to 5 scale based on how generous, convenient, and easy to understand the policy is.
