Even after I rinse my feet, a thin layer of glaze remains on my skin. It gives my soles ongoing hydration without feeling sticky — despite the glaze’s syrup-like consistency.

Key ingredients

Genuine honey and aloe leaf juice provide the moisture. Pineapple and papaya fruit extracts work to soften up those nasty hard spots on my soles.

Application

The jar comes with a handy-dandy application brush which keeps your hands free of goo. And, truthfully, the super-soft brush makes me feel as though I’m at a posh spa, receiving a pricey pedi treatment.

Results

The glaze moisturizes, but didn’t rid my feet of those stubborn calluses. The tops of my feet feel as smooth as honey, though!

Value

Softer feet are great, but at $30 a pop, Honey Heel Glaze is pricey. It’s not an everyday purchase in my book. Maybe buy it as a self-care indulgence.

Alternative heel treatments

If you can’t hold out for a restock on Farmhouse Fresh’s product — or you want to try something cheaper — here are three alternative heel treatments that are more affordable.

1. Dermatonics Honey heel cream

Dermatonics guarantees softer feet after using its manuka-honey formulation for just one day. Also, Dermatonics has put its product to the clinical trial test.

Buy it on Amazon for $15<use href="#wpil-svg-outbound-7-icon-path"></use>.

2. Estetist heel balm stick

Estetist foot repair balm uses Vitamin E, coconut oil, tea tree oil, olive oil, avocado oil, peppermint essential oil, and shea butter to hydrate, exfoliate, and soften cracked, callused feet.
