David’s Bridal is the “McDonald’s of wedding dresses”? Really? That’s a terrible thing to say because it’s obviously a put down. I got my dress there and received tons of compliments on it. One compliment was from the people that own the wedding venue (who have seen hundreds of brides). They said that my dress was one of the prettiest they had ever seen (I paid $525 for the dress).

Hi is there any hope for a Bride wearing a size 26 to find a beautiful wedding dress in the Philadelphia area. I’m not on a budget, but I am on a travel limit. I just don’t have time to travel to New York to find a dress and be fitted. Please help.

David’s Bridal (www.davidsbridal.com) is also a great place for a wedding dress. Sometimes you can catch a good deal during their $99 sale.

The Knot.com (www.theknot.com) is also good place to find fantastic gown however, beware of any surcharges for the larger sizes.
