But this white lady’s hair is thin and blonde!! By the morning of day 2 my hair is so limp and greasy I’m afraid I would have no friends if I didn’t shower!

This white girl completely agrees! I absolutely do NOT wash my hair every day. I might rinse it through with cold water just to refresh the style, but shampoo goes on it twice a week at most. I don’t use the dry shampoos. I am careful not to ever blast it with a hot hair dryer and I never use hot styling tools like a curling iron. I highlight it every few months and that’s it. My hair never looks dried out or tired, always shiny and strong. For me it’s actually easiest to style about day three without shampoo. I told some younger women recently I didn’t wash my hair every day and they were horrified. Let’s spread the word that this is so much better for your hair.

For the Jonathan Green stuff, do you just shake it onto your roots, or do you put it on your hand and rub it in? Always wondered the best application method for loose dry shampoo.
