Hello all. We recently got a Coach outlet in Nebraska. Some of the Coach purses there are NOT worth buying at any price. The colors do not look enough like the Coach store variety. Outlet malls have what Coach considers their seconds. That do not make it into a Coach Store. They also make purses & etc. specifically for the Coach Outlet’s. Generally the quality is the same, they are just a lower version of what the store contains. The biggest & easiest way to spot a fake are the “C”s. If they don’t line up, then there’s something wrong.

I bought my first Coach purse from the Outlet store and the hang tags don’t match the trim on the purse, and I didn’t get a dust bag. Is that normal?

I just bought a coach bag from the factory website but when I got it it has to little plastic tags in it one in the bag saying bad in china. And the WRISTlet says made in the phillipinness. Are the real? I have the thing saying they came from coach one way. But why r the plastic things in the bag?

Anyone who buys REAL Coach bags (like me) can spot a fake from a mile away…knockoffs are easy to spot.

Some things have changed yes they do have brown dust bags and now white or cream colored dust bags , some of the zipper pulls are ideal and some are ykk they both are authentic . The rest of the things noted above seem correct to me . I am not an expert but buy lots of coach items . Good luck !

I just purchased my first Coach handbag at a Coach store. The dust bag is cream colored, and the zipper doesn’t have anything imprinted on it. But I’m confident my bag is authentic.

Hello I have many coach bags I have bought all over the place and recently have found out that (from a person who sells authentic) that ‘all” have ykk zippers somewhere, but from what I am reading some have ideal?I have some of the mini c signatures that have ykk in and out, a few that have ykk and then nothing on the zipper, and some that have a ykk and an ideal on the zipper and then my most recent that I bought from a online auction that is coach chelsey and has ideal in and out on the zippers and on the side front of the zipper a 1 out in front, I paid a bit for it and a wallet that matches. f46459 AND F18919, Can some one help me?I do not want to be taken for my money.

FYI, I have bought a few bags from Coach Factory stores and the bags do not come with any dust bag or boxes. The zipper says IDEAL on it. Those bags that are bought from the Coach boutique do have dust bags and box.

When I called Coach directly for a vintage purse, they said NOT ALL Coach purses had YKK zippers.

Number 3 is also not 100% correct. The newer bags come with an off-white or brown satin dust bags. The draw strings on the bags can be either white or brown. Also, in addition to the hard plastic hangtags on the new poppy collection bags, Coach is now also making leather hangtags with the Coach creed embossed and/or printed on them.

Number 4 is not 100% correct. There are some new bags which have more than one logo tag attached and while at least one tag is leather I have seen a hard platic tag at the Coach store.
