I looooove Etsy! Maybe a bit too much! Some of my fav shops are Sultry Vintage, Cheshire Vintage and Zest Vintage. Those girls have some interesting finds!! & if you wait for a sale, super affordable (and beats taking up so much time digging through the racks myself only to find pieces that don’t fit)

I’ve had great success buying vintage clothing from Cry Violet. They have vintage dresses, accessories and many other items. Lots of the finer stuff too.

With regards to your ‘Modcloth’ entry. There are in fact many online vintage shops that do offer returns, exchange or credit note, if you are unhappy with your purchase. This includes my own website, Catwalk Creative Vintage, where we pride ourselves on excellent customer service.

In fact, all UK online businesses MUST comply with ‘Distance Selling Regulations’ which stipulates a minimum 7 day return policy, operative from the day after you receive the goods. I don’t know what regulations apply elsewhere, but certainly in the UK, there are laws in place for all online selling establishments.

I appreciate that you have limited space to mention all online shops here, but there are many more smaller vintage establishments that offer a superb variety of vintage. The onus is on the customer to read shop policies including terms & conditions.
