I went to Marshalls in Nashua NH and my items had Marshall tags on them. And they would not return or exchange them cause I couldn’t find the right receipt. And I had just lost I can drive. I could not find my I’d drivers license. But the items still had Marshalls tags on them. The items were ugly. I wouldn’t wear them and they came to about $60. So unless you have a license and you accidentally lost your recept, you pretty much have to sick it up. That’s ridiculous. They.had Marshalls tags on them. That is the worst business move ever. Not everyone has a license nor do they have too. And I was asking people if they were to use their license and because they didn’t like the way I went about it. They wouldn’t exchange them. So not only did I do.what I was told I.needed they.wouldnt accept it. To me that’s just ridiculous. When the items hideous items mind you wouldn’t be returned I called corporate. And they did nothing about it either. I used to.love shopping at Marshalls totally boycotting it for the rest of my life. I did exactly what was told of me and they still wouldn’t return the items. Although I had identification proven I was me. I was treated like a total criminal..

Typically, the refund goes on your card. You can check with your Marshalls store to see if they’ll handle it differently.

I do not blame you for no longer shopping at TJ Maxx. Although I moved to a town that does not have a TJ Maxx, after reading your experience, I will not shop there when I travel back to my home town. That is deplorable customer service. Is small claims an option? They clearly should have refunded your money.

I was told I had to have the tag on the bag because there was no tag on the bag which the Sales Rep had to go on the floor to scan the same bag that had a sales tag on it (which I had explained to the Sales Manager) but I had the receipt which transaction was labeled as “19 – ACCESSORIES 757670 299.99T which was purchased on my debit card. I showed the receipt to the Sale Manager which informed me that I could not return the item because (1) The designer is not one of TJ Maxx retailer via Sloan & Alex; (2) I need the sales tag or I can take it back to TJ Max in Buckhead Atlanta. Note: the Sales Manager contacted TJ Maxx in Buckhead Atlanta which informed the Sales Manager that designer handbag is a retailer at that store.

That said, I could not return nor get a refund even though I have a receipt. I am a Disabled Veteran & I have always enjoyed shopping at TJ Maxx, however from this treatment I will no longer remain a customer.
