i have swam in it many many many many times and the colour has retained well indeed and stood up to all the harsh elements of salt water and chlorine.
Its knowing how to wash and rinse it that makes all the differance.
Salt brightens all cottons and keeps them look fabulously bright
So i strongly disagree with comments about cotton swimsuits.
